Treasurer

My family and I visited Sheridan in the summer of 2021 and decided to make Sheridan our forever home. We wanted to provide a better quality of life for our son, embrace Wyoming values, and live out our days beside the Big Horn Mountains. My wife, Shelley, and I have been married for over eighteen years. We have three adult children, one child at home, and four grandchildren.

I have always been an entrepreneur, and retired in 2015 from selling insurance as the CEO providing life, health, and financial services. I enjoy spending time with my family, camping, hiking, hunting, amateur radio, and tinkering with electronics and cars. I love to explore new places in and around Wyoming, meet new people, help out when I can, and be involved in our community.

I have served on numerous boards including a Home Owners Association, Amateur Radio clubs, Science Technology Engineering and Math program, Search and Rescue team, and Parent Teacher Association. I served in many capacities on those boards as chair, vice chair, treasurer, and master at arms, to name a few. I have found all of these roles to be fulfilling in different ways, none more important than the lasting relationships I have made over the years.

I ran for Precinct 4-3 Committeeman in 2022, and won my seat. In December that year we bought a home in a different precinct and I had to resign my seat. In March 2023, I ran for the Sheridan County Republican party treasurer and was elected by unanimous vote. I attend Sheridan County School District #2 school board meetings and Sheridan City Council meetings regularly, and Sheridan County Commissioner meetings when I am able to. It is important to me to be informed about what is happening in my community.

I strive hard to work with others to hold elected officials and those in positions of power accountable. I am a strong advocate for Constitutional and Parental Rights seeking to make things better for my children, grandchildren, and future generations.

I look forward to continuing to do my part in keeping Sheridan a beautiful community to live in. I thank you for allowing me to be of service.
